New 2012 yamaha YZF R1 models

World GP 50th Anniversary Edition celebrates Yamaha’s racing heritage with Pearl White/Rapid Red livery. This R1 keeps all the technological superiorities developed for its predecessor: YCC-T™ (Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle) is MotoGP inspired fly-by-wire technology used to deliver instant throttle response. YCC-I is Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake which is a variable intake system that broadens the spread of power. The fuel injection system provides optimum air/fuel mixtures for maximum power and smooth throttle response.
The rear frame is lightweight Controlled-Fill die-cast magnesium, contributing the optimum mass centralization. The left fork handles compression damping and the right side handles the rebound damping. And the rear shock adopts bottom linkage for optimum suspension characteristics.

New Honda Zoomer X Scooter

This is the exact information you are waiting for, a concrete manifestation of the Honda Zoomer-X finally appeared in the Bangkok International Motor Show 2012. Apparently now present form is not much different from the concept form, which I wrote some time ago from one of the articles on this blog.
Zoomer-X Scooter designe models looks imply adventure bike. Exciting form of light rectangular eight now you can see clearly, as seen in the previous concept, a minimalist console meter has value and visible form of the letter "X".
The most interesting, Zoomer-X is equipped with front pork-term, upside down type equipped with handlebar bar, like a sports scooter Adventure genre. While the wheel has a wheel with a diameter of 12 ".
What about this scooter engine? Equipped with injection engine with PGM-FI 110cc V-Matic transmission (CVT) and claimed to have a record of Fuel 53km / l. How much is it? Listed price of 15,000 Bath.

The All New 2013 Ducati Diavel Carbon

In 2011 Ducati was released the Diavel. the model was essentially an assault weapon with one target in its crosshairs – the power cruiser market. This was new territory for the Bologna-based manufacturer, and the Diavel quickly gained recognition, bringing Ducati’s underlying image of performance to a new audience. The Diavel’s design returned as a carryover in 2012, though with addition of special editions, such as the Chromo and AMG (before the Audi takeover).

For 2013 Diavel Carbon arrives exclusively in carbon red and black, and the standard in three new color versions: Diavel Dark in matte black with black-finished components, and two “street-sport” schemes that introduce metallic blue or Ducati red with stylish white stripes, white wheels and special defining features.

The engine arrived with 1198cc desmo,Testastretta 11°, L-Twin cylinder, 4 valve per cylinder, liquid cooled. The engine breaths through Mitsubishi electronic fuel injection system with Mikuni elliptical throttle bodies and Ride-by-Wire, and massive 58mm exhaust headers the lead into a 2-1-2 system. Its can produce 162hp (119kW) @ 9500rpm of power and 94lb-ft (127.5Nm) @ 8000rpm of torque.

All Ducati model’s always came with riding modes. For the Diavel, Ducati features three of ridding modes – Urban, which reduces power to 100 horespower and DTC to five for stop-and go traffic; Touring, which allows 162 horsepower administered at a user-friendly pace, and a level four DTC setting; and Sport, which releases all 162 horsepower with full-on throttle response, and a level 3 traction control.

The chassis features a Ducati Trellis frame for torsional rigidity and an aluminun single-sided swingarm. Up front, the Diavel utilizes 50mm Marzocchi forks that are fully adjustable. On the Dark and Carbon versions, these forks are DCL coated. Out back, Sachs rear suspension features a progressive pull-rod linkage from the swingarm that is also fully adjustable. As of this writing, the MSRP was not released for the 2013 Ducati Diavel, but expect to pay around $18,000 for the standard, and $19,000 for the Carbon.

New Age Retro The VOXAN Cafe Racer
Continuing on the Voxan post, the focus this time is on the VOXAN Cafe Racer.
Although looks wise, some might disagree that that a Cafe Racer needs to be minimalistic in the accessories while the VOXAN CR

The 2004 Cafe Racer
with the sculpted tank and fender and upswept seating doesnt really compliment a cafe racer, crossing your leg over the seat and getting into the low-handle bars will definitely reassure you that it is indeed a Cafe Racer. And when sports bike of the 70s have evolved into futuristic looking machines, then why not the cafe racer, after all its the spirit of the cafe and the spirit... is alive and kickin in the VOXAN Cafe Racer.

The 2004 Cafe Racer & 1998 Cafe Racer
Voxan had introduced the model previously in 1998 and in 2004 has followed it up with the second version.
Between nostalgia and modernity, the Voxan 1000 Café Racer is an alternative to the Japanese and English bikes. The driving position is such that while it essentially meant for city racing, long tours will also be acceptable. In town, the Café-Racer will benefit from a narrow turning radius but the good positning offers a good long ride also. The 108 bhp @ 9000 rpm has enough grunt to pick up the horses from spot on with a torque figure of 10.3 kgm @ 6500 rpm.

The 2004 Cafe Racer & 1998 Cafe Racer
The twin has a very good powerband all through the rpm starting below 2,500 rpm, the sudden thrust is very sports bike like which is consistent through the entire rpm arc and also has the electronic injection Magneti Marelli. The architecture of 72 ° V makes it almost immune from vibration and with the aid of the liquid cooled engine, what you get is a modern machine.
The frame is completly hidden with the big round beams over the tank. The chassis structure is completed with its reversed fork of Paioli stems (41 mm) and a shock absorber mounted under the engine. Both elements are fully adjustable.

The 1998 Cafe Racer
The characteristics of the bike is such that there is considerable weight on the wrists, although not unbearable, but the mat on the dome gives a quite comfortable seat.
Whether the Cafe Racer will find many favours is not debatable as it is made for a niche market, but the cost pegging at $ 16, 800 will surely make it a desirable. While many critics have mentioned the bike styling as outlandish, the same critics did also mention that individually the bike is stunning to look at. Taking a look at the net will give you a fair ammount of idea that it has already taken quite a few fans and these fans surely know what a modern Cafe Racer should be...

In the News New bikes from MV and Guzzi

The brand who was almost rulling all the racing circuits some 40 50 years ago, now just seems like a spent force. Of course I am talking about Moto Guzzi. Guzzi still have some very very good looking bikes, all capable of matching their competitors and being Italian is used to high quality besides being looking good. But Guzzi has a rich heritage of racing accolades and it seems to aim at winning a few accolades back. During the last EICMA in Milan, it showcased the V7 Classic and Cafe Racer, very plain looking bikes, very similar to the model of 70s yet very Moto Guzzi, meaning good looking. Well, along with that, they talked about a Clubman Racer V7, a 750cc bike in all Moto Guzzi originality, raw and so very chick. This is a real beauty and in all probability is going to be launched this October. The small bar-end mirrors, instrumentation without racing tachometer, the race number boards and heat wrapped exhaust all looks so delicious. What is not probably a good thing is that the engine will be the same from the V7 which is not really a performance machine although it will have a slight benefit due to the Arrow exhaust system. The V7 based machine will cost around $1500 more than a standard machine as result of some of the modifications and it is siad that the model is being launched due to public demand. Although Guzzi is definitely looking at the racing circuits as of now, the market picture sure does look more rosy with the Clubman.

It is a good thing that Claudio Castiglioni has bought back MV Agusta from Harley Davidson. I never understood why MV was bought by HD on the first place since the MV marque is not really into the HD image plus HD was anyway having trouble in selling the Buell bikes. Whatever be the business reason behind it, but these two brands have so strong brand images that they just doesnt gel in the public view. S that noe MV is back to CC, they have let the cat out of the bag by the soon-to-be-launched F3. Claudio Castiglioni has announced his plans for revitalizing the MV marque. HD did good in the short period by launching the new Brutale and F4, but now CC is goping to invest around 40 million USD after aquiring all the rights back to the Castiglioni family. According to sources, MV is planning to launch around 10,000 units annually and the biggest piece of news here is the price. MV Agusta: If sources are to be beleived, the F3 has a list price of 9,000 Euro (11,600 USD). That is a stael for any bike with the MV Agusta sticker.
So what kind of a bike can you expect from the most revered brand in current motorcycling scenario? The F3 ibikw will have a new three-cylinder 675 cc motor that will revolutionize the market, as well as our company according to CC. CThere is also a Sport version lined up which will cost around 2000 Euro more and it seems to be in the direct segment currently hold forth by Triumphs sporting bikes. This seems to be a very good strategy since this will make the MV more affordable maintaining the same high class which MV is famous for and which means it is certainly looking for more in number of unit sales. What now you can expect is an entry level bike from MV with smashing goods looks a bit more common on the streets. But critics are also suspecting this will diminish the exclusivity value associated with MV. But then again, with the shadow of economic crisis always looming large now-a-days, MV had to take this step.
