The All New 2013 Ducati Diavel Carbon

In 2011 Ducati was released the Diavel. the model was essentially an assault weapon with one target in its crosshairs – the power cruiser market. This was new territory for the Bologna-based manufacturer, and the Diavel quickly gained recognition, bringing Ducati’s underlying image of performance to a new audience. The Diavel’s design returned as a carryover in 2012, though with addition of special editions, such as the Chromo and AMG (before the Audi takeover).

For 2013 Diavel Carbon arrives exclusively in carbon red and black, and the standard in three new color versions: Diavel Dark in matte black with black-finished components, and two “street-sport” schemes that introduce metallic blue or Ducati red with stylish white stripes, white wheels and special defining features.

The engine arrived with 1198cc desmo,Testastretta 11°, L-Twin cylinder, 4 valve per cylinder, liquid cooled. The engine breaths through Mitsubishi electronic fuel injection system with Mikuni elliptical throttle bodies and Ride-by-Wire, and massive 58mm exhaust headers the lead into a 2-1-2 system. Its can produce 162hp (119kW) @ 9500rpm of power and 94lb-ft (127.5Nm) @ 8000rpm of torque.

All Ducati model’s always came with riding modes. For the Diavel, Ducati features three of ridding modes – Urban, which reduces power to 100 horespower and DTC to five for stop-and go traffic; Touring, which allows 162 horsepower administered at a user-friendly pace, and a level four DTC setting; and Sport, which releases all 162 horsepower with full-on throttle response, and a level 3 traction control.

The chassis features a Ducati Trellis frame for torsional rigidity and an aluminun single-sided swingarm. Up front, the Diavel utilizes 50mm Marzocchi forks that are fully adjustable. On the Dark and Carbon versions, these forks are DCL coated. Out back, Sachs rear suspension features a progressive pull-rod linkage from the swingarm that is also fully adjustable. As of this writing, the MSRP was not released for the 2013 Ducati Diavel, but expect to pay around $18,000 for the standard, and $19,000 for the Carbon.

New Age Retro The VOXAN Cafe Racer
Continuing on the Voxan post, the focus this time is on the VOXAN Cafe Racer.
Although looks wise, some might disagree that that a Cafe Racer needs to be minimalistic in the accessories while the VOXAN CR

The 2004 Cafe Racer
with the sculpted tank and fender and upswept seating doesnt really compliment a cafe racer, crossing your leg over the seat and getting into the low-handle bars will definitely reassure you that it is indeed a Cafe Racer. And when sports bike of the 70s have evolved into futuristic looking machines, then why not the cafe racer, after all its the spirit of the cafe and the spirit... is alive and kickin in the VOXAN Cafe Racer.

The 2004 Cafe Racer & 1998 Cafe Racer
Voxan had introduced the model previously in 1998 and in 2004 has followed it up with the second version.
Between nostalgia and modernity, the Voxan 1000 Café Racer is an alternative to the Japanese and English bikes. The driving position is such that while it essentially meant for city racing, long tours will also be acceptable. In town, the Café-Racer will benefit from a narrow turning radius but the good positning offers a good long ride also. The 108 bhp @ 9000 rpm has enough grunt to pick up the horses from spot on with a torque figure of 10.3 kgm @ 6500 rpm.

The 2004 Cafe Racer & 1998 Cafe Racer
The twin has a very good powerband all through the rpm starting below 2,500 rpm, the sudden thrust is very sports bike like which is consistent through the entire rpm arc and also has the electronic injection Magneti Marelli. The architecture of 72 ° V makes it almost immune from vibration and with the aid of the liquid cooled engine, what you get is a modern machine.
The frame is completly hidden with the big round beams over the tank. The chassis structure is completed with its reversed fork of Paioli stems (41 mm) and a shock absorber mounted under the engine. Both elements are fully adjustable.

The 1998 Cafe Racer
The characteristics of the bike is such that there is considerable weight on the wrists, although not unbearable, but the mat on the dome gives a quite comfortable seat.
Whether the Cafe Racer will find many favours is not debatable as it is made for a niche market, but the cost pegging at $ 16, 800 will surely make it a desirable. While many critics have mentioned the bike styling as outlandish, the same critics did also mention that individually the bike is stunning to look at. Taking a look at the net will give you a fair ammount of idea that it has already taken quite a few fans and these fans surely know what a modern Cafe Racer should be...

Honda Vario techno 125 PGM FI
Fuel-efficient on the motorcycle, its definitely a very expected the rider. Perhaps you are familiar with Honda scooter Click 125i. If in Indonesia, Click 125i is the Vario Techno 125 PGM-FI, Honda click the differences on the 125i has been fitted with ISS (idling stop system), well heres a useful feature to save fuel. for example when we stopped at the zebra crossing, the engine will die their own bike and do not need to turn off the engine with the ignition and then turn on again by pressing the starter button. With the ISS system, the engine will die alone, and turn the gas back by pulling the legs, and drove scooter.
Now reportedly ISS system (idling stop system) will be applied to the Vario techno 125 PGM-FI version of Indonesia, Woow it would be very nice. According to informants, PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) Just add some hardware and replace the ECM (electronic control module). Hardware in question is under the seat sensor that reads the rider on the bike.
When the motorcycle rider throttle without the engine will not die if left longer. Another component that must be added to the switch on the handlebar to activate this feature ISS, and the indicator on the speedometer panel. In addition it has to be changed is the ECM with the new module support the work of the ISS.
For those of you lovers of Honda Vario in Indonesia, we wait for further news about this good news.

The New 2013 Yamaha V Star 1300 Deluxe
Introducing the new 2013 Yamaha V-Star 1300 Deluxe. This bike delivers exceptional performance and value, making it the ideal choice for riders looking for high end appearance and features in a midsized cruiser and offers great touring comfort and reliability in an easy to handle mid-size package.
Powered by a 1304cc (80-cubic-inch) fuel injected, liquid-cooled, short stroke, SOHC, 8-valve, 60° V-twin, transmission 5-speed with multiplate wet clutch, and ignition with Transistor Controlled Ignition (TCI). The short stroke engine design reduces the "tallness" of the engine, while the 60 degree "V" makes the engine more compact thereby centralizing mass and lowering the center of gravity for lighter more responsive handling. One-piece cylinder heads feature 4-valves per cylinder to provide optimum breathing efficiency for maximum power output. Each head is fitted with a single long reach spark plug.
The SOHC valve train features 36mm intake and 32mm exhaust valves with special single coil springs for great power and torque. Valve angles are set at 20 degrees. Specially designed roller rockers activate the valves. The roller rocker system allows a greater amount of valve lift without producing excessive camshaft wear and friction. The slipper portion of the rocker arm features a needle bearing to further reduce wear and slide resistance. The camshafts have been specially designed to provide class leading power.
For suspension V-Star 1300 Deluxe used 41mm KYB fork features stylish large-diameter brushed-finished covers in front. Wheel travel is 135mm (5.3") for a smooth, comfortable ride. In the rear used Monocross style, spring preload-adjustable, single-shock, link rear suspension centralizes mass for agile handling. The linkage system provides a rising rate effect that provides excellent compliance on both small and large bumps. There are 9 positions of spring preload adjustability to suit rider preference. For brake, this bike used dual 298mm, floating discs are squeezed by compact twin piston front calipers in front and 298mm disc brake squeezed by single piston caliper mounted to the underside of the swingarm in rear.
The V-Star 1300 Deluxe also equipped with a rugged, waterproof Garmin® zumo® 665 GPS. Features include motorcycle-friendly navigation, including weather and traffic conditions (if subscribed to monthly service), lane assist, and 3D building view. XM® satellite radio (with subscription) and Bluetooth® wireless functionality.
Pure Visual Gratification The EGLI VINCENT

In the small Normandy village of Malaunay in Northern France, Patrick Godet and his small team of craftsmen produce the Egli-Vincent, a living recreation of the most exquisite motorcycle ever made… “The” HRD Vincent.
Releive the moments through these pictures as the greatest motorcycle ever built gets hand made. Seen in the last two pictures is the man himself, Pattrick Godet who is a supreme being among us because he really has the power to give life.

The Multi Faceted XS650

I have ridden the XS650 and couple of its siblings and had owned the 400 version, yes its a good bike with no complaints, but you know, it will be difficult to highlight any particular aspect of the bike, not because there are many, but because I couldnt find it, I mean its a REALLY good street bike with no complaints whatsoever, but as I said, no highlights and that is because I always compare it to the CB750, after all they were both launched almost together.

Anyway, its not about the XS650 history, but about its reincarnation upteenth time! The CB750 (there I go again) is not often seen as it has become kind of a memory now, but this XS650! You will have to say that Yamaha is still producing it. And no bike has gone or been customized in so many different versions like the XS. Chopper, Bobber, Cruiser, Cafe Racer, Track, Street, you name it, the XS650 has been there, done that. Just search for Customs Yamaha in this blog, you will see the different avataars of the XS.

The white XS650 you see here is a 1977 Yamaha XS650 (recristened Cafe XS Classic) twin featured on ebay and the last time I checked, it was still available. Now this bike is close to the original with a modified rear seat and head lamp which gives it a semi cafe racer look, dont you think? The bike has been stunningly detailed. The owner reports this bike as having sandblasted frame, refinished with automotive silver basecoat clearcoat with more or less everything replaced with new materials. The gas tank is although from a Honda CB500T.

There is a certain Mr. Richard Pollock, owner of Mule Motorcycles. He is into customization and I intend to make a post on his creations, and I will, but he has such a huge collection, that to really churn out his best work is also tedious. None the less, i will make a post on Mule Motorcycles. The red beauty above is a product of Mule Motorcycles. What a delicate looking thing, this is, I dont even feel like riding it and those upswept exhausts...ooh! I am so much in love with those.

There is something ... has to be... about the XS that people love it so much. Maybe because its simple and the frame is such that its kind of a one-size-fits-all thing, moreover its a smaller displacement engine, so its much easier to fiddle with, easier to customize, looks good and of course easy and fun to ride. Bottom line it is an inexpensive option to get you noticed and which biker wouldnt want that? Only thing now is you wont probably get a XS650 to play with as it seems all of them have been chipped, cut and modified and so most of the stuff you get on ebay are also customized like this model here from ebay(see above). Bidding has closed (for your info), but what did I tell you, this time a XS650 chopper version!

But for this particular post, this XS650 Chopper Bobber featured on ebay takes the cake definitely. This 1980 bike is still up for bidding. Its 4 feet long and some of the interesting changes include LED turn signals and brake light, customized seat and a fine dual tone colour. Wires, battery and electricals are new, it has new Maxxis Classic Tires and the forward control linkage is custom made. Well, there is still time to bid for it and in case you want a original XS650 to play around with, you cant have anything more cheaper than the two (1,2) bikes featured on ebay. And in case you have actually forgotten how an original XS650 looks like (after all you hardly see them), here is a picture to refresh your memory. The second one is the Special which Yamaha launched with raised handlebars.
