The Suzuki Hayabusa Limited Edition, quite simply, isnt for everyone. With performance credentials that have established it as the most exciting sportbike on the planet, its designed for serious sport riders who will settle for nothing less than the best. If thats you, and if you choose to ride the Hayabusa, youll be rewarded with a riding experience youll never forget. Its combination of unsurpassed power, crisp handling and superb aerodynamics creates the ultimate sport bike. The 2012 Hayabusa Limited Edition is available in new Candy Sonoma Red. ENGINE A 1340cc in-line 4-cylinder fuel injected, DOHC liquid-cooled engine with 16-valves and Twin Swirl Combustion Chambers (TSCC) provides phenomenal power. Lightweight aluminum alloy pistons with a compression ratio of 12.5:1 are used for maximum performance in all connditions. Hard, smooth chrome-nitride Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coating on the upper compression and oil control rings on each piston reduces friction while improving cylinder sealing. Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material (SCEM) cylinder plating improves heat transfer, durability and ring seal. Lightweight titanium valves allow the use of light valve springs and high lift while maintaining accurate valve control. Iridium spark plugs are used for high combustion efficiency. The Hayabusas engine is fed via Suzukis SDTV (Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve) fuel injection system with dual 12-hole, fine-spray injectors per cylinder and ram air intake with large volume airbox. Suzuki Pulsed-secondary AIR-injection (PAIR) system ignites unburned hydrocarbons and reduces carbon monoxide emissions. S-DMS (Suzuki Drive Mode Selector) allows the rider to choose from three different engine settings depending on riding conditions or rider preferences. The Hayabusa comes with a large volume 4-2-1-2 exhaust system with a large capacity catalyzer, dual triangular canisters and closed loop system. A high efficiency curved radiator features dual electric fans controlled by the ECM for increased cooling capacity.

The oil cooler has 10 row cores for increased heat dissipation. TRANSMISSION FEATURES An optimized 6-speed transmission features oil spray to the 4th, 5th, and 6th gears to reduce wear and mechanical noise during highway cruising. Suzuki Clutch Assist System (SCAS) serves as back-torque-limiting system for smooth downshifts and also contributes to a light clutch pull. CHASSIS FEATURES A lightweight and rigid twin-spar aluminum frame minimizes weight while maintaining high torsional strength. A fully adjustable inverted front fork features DLC (Diamond-Like Coating) coated inner tubes. The front suspension offers minimal friction resistance and provides outstanding suspension performance over a variety of riding conditions. A bridged aluminum alloy swingarm features a cross-sectional shape for increased rigidity, which also helps cope with improved rear tire grip and increased engine output. The Hayabusas fully adjustable rear shock absorber has a 43mm piston and 14mm rod diameter. Radial-mount front brake calipers offer maximum braking performance and allows for smaller 310mm front brake rotors resulting in reduced unsprung weight and improved handling. A lightweight single piston rear brake caliper works in conjunction with a 260mm rear brake disc. Vertically stacked twin headlights provide increased light intensity, improved light distribution and match the elegant flow of the Hayabusa styling. The Hayabusas instrument cluster features four analog meters for speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge and water temperature with a S-DMS mode indicator, gear position indicator and adjustable engine-rpm indicator.

The Commemorative Edition 2013 Suzuki GSX R1000

In 1985 Suzuki released the first generation of GSX-R with GSX-R750. The introduction of the GSX-R750 changed the world of sportsbikes forever, as the first mass produced race replica, it was a race bike first and a street bike second. Joining the GSX-R750 was the GSX-R600 and GSX-R1000, which equally dominated racetracks and sales in Australia and internationally. Now, Suzuki has recently produced its one millionth GSX-R motorcycle and is celebrating this special milestone with a commemorative edition of its flagship sportsbike, the 2013 GSX-R1000. Featuring class-mastering performance, cutting-edge technology, design and engineering, this bike is the ultimate fusion of performance and design and delivers excellent mid-range power and acceleration. It’s only 1,985 units will be produced worldwide and distributed worldwide.

Powered by engine type 999 cc, 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC. The engine used durable forged pistons are designed with the Finite Element Method (FEM) and fatigue analysis technology and optimized camshaft profiles was developed using proven MotoGP racing technology. Besides that also equip with efficient radiator with a trapezoidal shape developed on factory team racebikes and a trapezoidal engine oil cooler both help reduce drag, pentagonal shaped ventilation holes in the side of each cylinder bore reduce pumping losses, further improving throttle response, race-proven back-torque-limiting clutch contributes to smoother downshifting and corner entry.
The 2013 GSX-R1000 also arrive with some feature such as Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material (SCEM). It’s helps reduce friction, improve heat transfer, increase durability and provide better ring seal. Suzuki Ram Air-Direct (SRAD) air intakes are positioned close to the centerline of the fairing to provide optimum intake efficiency. The intake-duct openings feature a louvered design that heightens intake efficiency, while also contributing to weight reduction. Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) system uses two butterfly valves (primary and secondary) in each throttle body barrel. Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS) system allows the rider to select one of three fuel injection and ignition system maps, adjusting power delivery to suit personal preference.
For comfortable riding, The 2013 GSX-R1000 used lightweight and compact twin-spar frame is made of five cast sections. It is mated with an arched swingarm made of three castings and one-piece die-cast rear subframe. The bike also used fully adjustable 43mm Showa Big Piston Front forks (BPF) with an endurance-race-proven design deliver superb feedback and responsive, stable operation and rear shock absorber features adjustable rebound damping, spring preload, and both high-speed and low-speed compression damping allowing adjustability for a wide range of conditions.
For braking, front disc brakes are equipped with the top-of-the–line radial-mount Brembo monobloc calipers and rear disc brake works with a single piston Nissin caliper mounted above the swingarm. The calipers compact design contributes to a reduction of unsprung weight. The 2013 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Commemorative Edition released in US MSRP Price: $13,999 USD.
