2013 Ducati Monster 659 Australian Models

2013 Ducati Monster 659 Motorcycle Reviews

2013 Ducati Monster 659

Every single component has been redesigned and redeveloped so now more than ever, form follows function. With any details detracting from the Monster concept being eliminated, less-is-more also means less-is-Monster. Less weight plus more torque equals fun-filled riding.Thats philosophy Inspiration To made The Ducati Monster 659,This Motorcycles produced exclusively for the Australian market and the Learner Approved Motorcycle Scheme (LAMs) by Ducati, Italy.

The Ducati Monster 659 shares many of the same key features and benefits that has made the Monster 696 such a big hit for many less experienced riders including; lightweight, easy handling, low seat height and rider friendly L-Twin power delivery. Essential Ducati detailing, high quality and safety is also evident throughout the Ducati Monster 659 design, as is the styling, renowned by the iconic naked Monster family. When you choose to ride the Monster, you are not just choosing a bike, but an entire lifestyle opening the door to the World of Ducati.

In 1992 Ducati unveiled a new prototype that was to become an icon. Ducatis creation awed the crowds and the worlds media of that years Cologne International Motorcycle show. The 900 Monster was a motorcycle that created a truly new niche - dramatically styled, minimalist in stature yet bristling with innovative engineering solutions. The Ducati Monster radical styling has also provided the inspiration for an entire after-market sector specializing in hot-rod parts for this legendary machine. For this reason, rarely do you see two Monsters the same. This radical and refreshing design departure also influenced other manufacturers but, as the old adage states: imitation is the highest form of flattery... The Ducati Monster is characterized by a long and successful history, by its introduction during the years of numerous cylinders and uncountable color options, but above all by a constant technological evolution that this year brings us to the birth of the last version: the Monster 1100EVO, "The Ultimate Monster".

The All New 2013 Ducati Diavel Carbon

In 2011 Ducati was released the Diavel. the model was essentially an assault weapon with one target in its crosshairs – the power cruiser market. This was new territory for the Bologna-based manufacturer, and the Diavel quickly gained recognition, bringing Ducati’s underlying image of performance to a new audience. The Diavel’s design returned as a carryover in 2012, though with addition of special editions, such as the Chromo and AMG (before the Audi takeover).

For 2013 Diavel Carbon arrives exclusively in carbon red and black, and the standard in three new color versions: Diavel Dark in matte black with black-finished components, and two “street-sport” schemes that introduce metallic blue or Ducati red with stylish white stripes, white wheels and special defining features.

The engine arrived with 1198cc desmo,Testastretta 11°, L-Twin cylinder, 4 valve per cylinder, liquid cooled. The engine breaths through Mitsubishi electronic fuel injection system with Mikuni elliptical throttle bodies and Ride-by-Wire, and massive 58mm exhaust headers the lead into a 2-1-2 system. Its can produce 162hp (119kW) @ 9500rpm of power and 94lb-ft (127.5Nm) @ 8000rpm of torque.

All Ducati model’s always came with riding modes. For the Diavel, Ducati features three of ridding modes – Urban, which reduces power to 100 horespower and DTC to five for stop-and go traffic; Touring, which allows 162 horsepower administered at a user-friendly pace, and a level four DTC setting; and Sport, which releases all 162 horsepower with full-on throttle response, and a level 3 traction control.

The chassis features a Ducati Trellis frame for torsional rigidity and an aluminun single-sided swingarm. Up front, the Diavel utilizes 50mm Marzocchi forks that are fully adjustable. On the Dark and Carbon versions, these forks are DCL coated. Out back, Sachs rear suspension features a progressive pull-rod linkage from the swingarm that is also fully adjustable. As of this writing, the MSRP was not released for the 2013 Ducati Diavel, but expect to pay around $18,000 for the standard, and $19,000 for the Carbon.

2013 Harley Davidson Softail Fat Boy Lo 110th Anniversary

2013 Harley Davidson Softail Fat Boy Lo 110th Anniversary

A highlight of each 2013 Harley Davidson Softail Fat Boy Lo 110th Anniversary model are solid bronze fuel tank badges, plated in black nickel and then distressed to highlight the bronze. A bright gold-tone Bar and Shield cloisonne is inserted in the main body of the "single wing" badge while each motorcycle will carry other model-specific anniversary barging, trim and a serialization badge.

2013 Harley Davidson Softail Fat Boy Lo 110th Anniversary Edition model (limited to 1,750 motorcycles) includes Smart Security System and ABS.

Building on the Fat Boy legacy, the Harley Davidson Softail Fat Boy Lo brought a darker, slammed appearance to the world of boulevard cruisers. From front to back, this custom cruiser shows attitude, with custom, black bullet hole wheels, a denim black frame, blacked-out covers and header shields, and satin chrome in all the places mirror chrome would normally reside. A slammed, narrow-cut seat rides just 24.25-inches off the ground, while the forward foot controls and low, 1.25-inch handlebar create a secure stance that inspires a cruising state of mind. With the new addition of anti-lock brakes in the Security Package option, the Fat Boy Lo truly remains at the head of the pack.

2013 Harley Davidson Night Rod Special

2013 Harley Davidson Night Rod Special

The Harley Davidson Night Rod Special features a tapered tail section, lighter-weight wheels, and improved ergonomics with reduced reach to both the rider foot pegs and handlebar. Inverted front forks and returned rear suspension enhance ride and handling. This is a blacked-out, dark and sinister power cruiser thats at home in a back alley.

The 2013 Harley Davidson Night Rod Special motorcycle proves that a performance exhaust can still be a beautiful set of pipes. The double-barrel exhaust features brushed finish dual mufflers, black end caps and exhaust shields. Performance and bold style erupt with every crack of the throttle.Behold an ultra-fat, 240mm rear tire for a powerful, no-nonsense look and added grip. Harnessing explosive, off-the-line power, the rear tire on the Harley Davidson Night Rod Special motorcycle enhances the pure dragster look with the sticky, high-performance tread you need for staying glued to the pavement.

Every inch of a Harley Davidson motorcycle is created to sync up with the bikes overall look and performance. The 2013 Harley Davidson Night Rod Special is no exception. As our very first liquid-cooled rides, we turned to styling to make sure the radiator on the V-Rod models became part of the design instead of an interruption to the flow of the eye.

The 2013 KTM 450 SXF

The 2013 model KTM 450SX-F represents a new SX generation. Above all, the ergonomics and function of the plastics have been designed in such a way that the whole chassis and engine package forms a perfect harmony with the rider down to the very last detail. The fuel tank and spoiler have been restyled along with the airbox cover and the front fender, including the front number plate. A particular highlight is the new front fender, which has no ribbing on the inside, to prevent mud build-up. A pioneering structure and improved attachment of the fender to the triple clamp result in up to 50% greater lateral stiffness.

The engine arrive with 449.3 cm³ (27.418 cu in) SOHC SX-F, 1-cylinder, 4-stroke engine, water-cooled, engine lubrication used pressure circulation lubrication with two Eaton pumps, ignition contactless controlled fully electronic ignition with digital ignition adjustment, clutch used multidisc clutch in oil bath/hydraulically activated and 5 - speed of transmision.
